What Are Pages?
A Page in RankDots represents a specific content opportunity — an article, guide, or webpage you could create. Each Page contains a cluster of semantically related keywords that share common ranking URLs in Google's search results.
How Pages are formed:
Keywords that share 3 or more common URLs in Google's top 10 results are grouped into a single Page. This SERP-based clustering ensures each Page represents a distinct topic that Google recognizes as a cohesive search intent.
Example: Keywords like "hubspot crm," "hubspot crm free," and "hubspot crm features" might all show the same top-ranking URLs, so they form one Page called "HubSpot CRM."
Each Page belongs to a Topic (the higher-level category). A project may contain hundreds or thousands of Pages across all Topics.

Key Metrics Explained
Easy Traffic Wins: The potential traffic you could gain by ranking for keywords in this Page. Calculated based on:
- Keywords where weak competitors currently rank
- Search volume adjusted for realistic click-through rates
- Your potential to outrank without building backlinks
Higher = better opportunity. Sort by this metric to find quick wins.
Search Volume: Total monthly searches across all keywords in the Page. Represents the maximum audience size if you ranked #1 for every keyword.
Note: Actual traffic will be lower based on your ranking positions and click-through rates.
Keywords Count: Number of individual keywords grouped into this Page. More keywords can mean:
- Broader topic coverage needed
- More long-tail variations to include
- Greater content depth required
Pages with many keywords (50+) may require comprehensive, in-depth content.
Page Difficulty: Average keyword difficulty across all keywords in the Page (scale 0-100).
- 0-30: Low difficulty — good for new sites
- 31-50: Medium difficulty — requires solid content
- 51-70: High difficulty — needs authority + quality
- 71-100: Very high — competitive, established players dominate
